Director D waited patiently on the couch, waiting for Black Widow to wake and and come to the living room. He began to hear slight noises in the hallway, expecting to see her walk into the room.
Black Widow finally arrived and collapsed on the couch next to him.
“Doing fine?” he asked awkwardly.
Black Widow responded with a grunt.
"Yeah...me neither...got anything in mind?"
Black Widow narrowed her eyes at him.
"You know...something to keep us occupied."
Black Widow responded with a slap.
“OW!” Director D rubbed his cheek. “What was THAT for?”
“I thought you would KNOW that I wouldn’t want to do anything. Let alone do anything with YOU.” she said coldly, staring at the wall.
“You know...you’ve literally changed, Blackie. What happened to the Blackie that was fun, easygoing, and knew how to control her temper and was mindful of others manners, HUH? You’ve literally changed ever since you got arrested and sent to that goddamned prison! I swear, if I knew how to cure you, I w-”
He ended up with a book that was lying on the table on top of his head in a mere 1.5 seconds.
“Again, OW.” he said before leaving into the side yard.
Black Widow usually didn’t like to mistreat her friends. She’d always been kind to them and unselfish. She’d usually appear the opposite to enemies. She honestly didn’t know what’s gotten into her, for the millionth time, and wanted it to stop. But no matter what she did, all hell would break loose from her nerves and she’d end up losing her temper. Kinda like when she blew up at Betty unexpectedly for waking her up early like Black Widow always liked.
What the crud… Black Widow thought. She decided to pick up the book that she slammed on Director D’s head. Dark Power: Forbidden Doors. Huh...interesting… She opened the book hoping that it’d take her mind off of everything.
